Google Form

We were asked to create a form. At first I was going to choose an educational item to do a form on, then I decided to do a survey on something a little more fun. I choose to do a survey on Pets. This could be used for personal use or use in the classroom as an ice breaker on the first day. There are many other additional topics that you could use as a survey for the purpose of an ice breaker. Google even gives you the option of creating a summary of the data. If you are to use quantitative data you will be able to represent your results in a graph and use that as a class discussion, if you do not want to single out students. This is a neat tool that can really aid in classroom instruction.

Below you will find my survey. Try it!

ISTE-NETS-T STANDARDS

2. Design and Develop Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments
This standard is met by the creation of a form. A form that is on the Internet and students can enter information into, then that information is transferred to a spreadsheet. There are a variety of features that can be used with the data such as the creation of graphs and charts that represent the data.
